Susie Aromando has ridden at international level for both GB for young riders and (thanks to her Italian father) Italy in Seniors.
Her first love was showjumping but at age 15 had the opportunity to visit Sandy Phillips yard who is an Olympic dressage rider, having worked for Sandy Phillips and seeing the beautiful Grand Prix horses working she decided dressage was for her.
Susie won the British International Young Dressage Horse Championships at the Nationals with her international horse, Von Velten whose she bought as a 3.5 year old and trained him through the levels.
Susie has produced several horses from youngsters to advanced including her mare Herzdame and her first horse off ponies, Prinz Zaco.
Susie spent much of her younger years staying and training in Germany with feats such as George Theoderescu, Rudolf Zeilinger and Conrad Schumacher at their yards, as a result, she’s ideally placed to help you achieve your flatwork or dressage potential.
The couple start with unbroken three and four year old horses and produce them through the levels and they believe it gives them a closer bond with their horses.
As well as riding, Susie grooms for Warren at all the shows and takes huge pride in their competition turnout and has won the prestigious Top Groom Award at Burghley Horse Trials 5* and reserve at the Event Riders Masters Series.
